Scene cleared following a multiple-vehicle crash near the Tugela Plaza

All lanes are NOW OPEN to traffic at the scene of this morning’s serious multiple vehicle crash just south of the Tugela Plaza in KwaZulu-Natal at N3-6 31.6S.

N3TC appreciates the support of their partners in the Road Incident Management System (RIMS) who assisted with medical attention, cleanup and recovery operations at the scene, with minimal disruption to traffic flow.

Road users are requested to drive with extra caution and care, especially during busy traffic periods, such as this Easter weekend. Traffic volumes on the N3 Toll Route are expected to increase from midday today.

Slow-moving traffic, congestion, and delays may occur during peak periods.
