Drinking & Driving Awareness Campaign – Alberton Stands United

There are moments that remind us what true community looks like-and this was one of them.

On 02 May 2026, the Alberton community came together for a powerful awareness drive and scene to stand against drinking and reckless driving. This initiative was not only about raising awareness, but also about honouring the life and memory of Enrique Robbertze da Silva, whose passing continues to remind us of how one decision can change lives forever.

This awareness campaign was the vision of Brendon Fourie, who took the initiative to bring this important message to life. With determination and purpose, he approached Kim from Brackendowns CPF, working closely together to plan and execute the event. His focus, passion, and commitment to making this event successful played a key role in bringing the community together.

This campaign was driven by a simple but urgent purpose: to educate, to prevent, and to protect.
