Women within the National Traffic Police have led a highly successful multi- stakeholder law enforcement operation in west of Gauteng to mark the start of Women’s Month celebrations.

The operation, held in Fochville, attracted female members from the police, provincial and municipal traffic departments.

A total of 500 vehicles were stopped and searched during the operation and 127 traffic fines worth R101 200

They also managed to arrest at least three illegal immigrants.
Similar operations are will be taking place at different locations this month to showcase the commitment of female to enforcing the law and reducing the number of road fatalities.
