Just after 7am this morning, Mi7’s Emergency Medical Services was dispatched after reports of a Motor Vehicle Accident on the N3 near Townhill.
Medics found a multi-vehicle crash involving a minibus taxi, a car, and a truck. There were many patients, some of whom suffered minor wounds and others with more severe injuries. Paramedics from several service providers worked together to triage and treat the patients on scene before they were taken to hospital for further care.
One patient, an elderly woman, was entrapped in the wreckage and had to be carefully extricated.
