Upon arrival, it was found that two light motor vehicles and a sports utility vehicle had collided.
One person sustained moderate injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life before being transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition.
Two other people sustained minor injuries and were assessed on scene but declined hospital transport.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet clear, and the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department has opened an accident report.
