Is your time up or has the dice rolled over in your favor?
I don’t want to scare you but I never ever thought of the scary Drunk Driving statistics until I had the horrible misfortune of meeting a Drunk Driver on my side of the road. Besides having to take my pregnant wife to hospital without a car – doing a head-on collision was number 2 on my top list of scariest things I have ever done – and yes it was not fun!
Seriously, on the lighter side of things – we are so blessed to have walked out of the crash – only now more than a year later we are feeling the aftermath with neck problems – hips – knees and backs hurting. Besides these injuries we are so grateful that we aren’t stuck in a care home or wheelchair. GOD IS GOOD all the time!
With the high rate of drunks frequenting our roads daily – you might have passed a few intoxicated drivers this morning. You were quite lucky? Think about this – Even if you practice Dry Driving it might just not be enough – it is really not up to you. We as a society have accepted Drunk Drivers just as we had to deal with potholes – it is part of our lives, But I say no more! Let us make a stop to this – why do we which adhere to the law be subject to death, maiming AND FEAR.
