Is drinking a sin?

Why are you so tipsy, people of GOD?

Never in the Bible does it say or even imply that Jesus Christ indulged in drinking wine—there is no proof of this, and yes, there is also no proof that Christ didn’t. So, why do we, as Christians, believe that being like the world is fine?

What I mean is this: if we need to be examples and set a standard, won’t NOT DRINKING be the right thing to do? How will the world know that we are of Him and serve Christ when we indulge and do everything the world does? This is foolish thinking, and you are leaving your soul to be exploited and raped by satan, when you say drinking is allowed as a Christian. Don’t you think that God won’t give you the strength to say no to something that is clearly harmful and most probably going to ruin your life?

Why do you need to relax or take the edge off? What worries do you have? Should you not take these to God? Should you not put your trust in God and his unique timing?

I believe that as a Christian you SHOULD not drink, ALCHOHOL SHOULD NOT BE IN YOUR HOUSE or in your mind. My challenge is this: you say that your drinking habit—be it one drink a day or just every weekend—is not a problem or sin; STOP drinking right now and keep clean for 6 months. When you have done this and can honestly say that it was not difficult, congratulations! You are not a drunk! You have not made drinking an idol or given it any importance in your life.

I pray that God will show and lift the vail of darkness and reveal the hold satan has on your life. I pray that our Father will have mercy on you and grant you freedom from the things of this world. I pray that the Holy Spirit will rip you from the fires of hell and teach you the true way of Christ. I pray for the renewal of your mind and soul. Lord, let us not get away with foolish thinking. In Jesus’ name, let it be so!

We have been set free, and our actions should also reflect the same. You are the light in the world and should draw people to Christ, not teach them lies and add extra burdens. We as followers of Christ must stop allowing these “Traps”, half-lies to be part of our mindsets, as these small foxes will only be used by satan, and you drinking only hursts the kingdom of God!

STOP DRINKING LIKE A FOOLISH DRUNK! The Kingdom of God does not have a place for this!
