He will restore you!

1Peter5v10-KoaSinag

1 Peter 5:10 NIV

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

He got you in his HEART!

I know and understand the hardship of struggle myself so, hold strong my friends – The GOD of all heavens is not a Fickle – mind changing – not keeping his promises GOD. All and every word He speaks comes to pass! Yes, it is a very slow process most of the time, but He is a caring Father. He who has the universes in his hands has a special place in his heart for you.

Now, that I’m a father myself and been granted the amazing privilege of becoming a parent; I cannot un-see the real truths of life anymore, Fathers are more inclined to let their kids experience “dangerous” things but it all comes from a good place! My dear McKenzie is the best person I know and I only want the BEST for her – keep her safe from “any” HARM, but I also have to allow her to experience life in its full CAPACITY. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying you must allow your child to play with FIRE or leave your kid unattended at a swimming pool, which is absolutely STUPID.  You never do that!

I do grasp much more of Gods processes, in His parenting style, I feel much closer to Father God now that I can comprehend what is behind His teaching methods for me. I can promise you – it is all meant for the GOOD of your growth. Yes, not comfort but GROWTH! It may seem very discomforting when you read it plainly – GOD loves your Character above all things – your character defines you out in this big scary world. Your unique character is a SPARK in the dark lost lonely world.

Let me put it this way, McKenzie is such a strong willed kid and always wants to try do things on her own. Now that she can walk – she loves her new found independence; Sjoe – she is such a wild soul and LOVES EXPLORING OUTSIDE. I love this about her but like the other day while being at the beach and walking in the lagoon, she decided it is time not to hold my hand anymore. Even after me telling her what is going to happen she still wanted to try waddling in the water. As she got over excited and while giggling went a little too fast, the inevitable happened – she tripped and went under water.

As any good father I was there next to her – I scooped her out of the water, put her back on her feet – made eye contact and let her know everything is fine. She was startled but as soon as she saw me you could see that she was not scared at all. I WIPED the water from her face and quickly put the stick she was carrying back in her hand; took her other hand and kept on walking as if nothing happened. Mommy was sitting on the shore and could see the panic on her face, obviously mommy wanted to jump up and make a big fuss but luckily she kept her cool and stayed calm.

As we are staying at the coast and McKenzie loves water, I do not want her to be scared of water but I do want her to understand that she needs to listen when daddy or mommy talks and when bad things happen WE WILL BE THERE! That’s all I can do – I need to protect but gently give guidance and support! I want her to learn that we as her parents will always try to be there in her journey and when she makes mistakes she can always come running back to us. Maybe in projecting this principal into her character McKenzie can apply this to Father GOD as well – when life gets tough – RUN TO HOME! Family is the ONLY THING which matters… GOD is the only thing which matters.

The same with our GOD – He is a father of many, but believe me He cares. He has never left your side even when you do live in sin or do things you know is wrong. He is a good Father! He cares and works for all things to work out for the best possible way for your unique life! DO NOT STOP LOOKING – SEARCHING – RUNNING TO GOD!
