An attempted murder suspect apprehended

At approximately 21:00, the Titanium Securitas Crime Prevention Unit responded to reports of a violent stabbing believed to be linked to a gang-related targeted attack.

Upon arrival, members located the victim with multiple serious stab wounds to the head, face and arms. The victim had also been handcuffed by the suspects. Immediate medical assistance was rendered by the

Titanium Securitas Crime Prevention Unit while Titanium Securitas Medical Response was dispatched to the scene.

During the initial investigation, information regarding the alleged suspects was obtained, prompting our members to immediately launch a search for those involved.

A short while later, the Titanium Securitas Crime Prevention Unit successfully traced and apprehended one of the alleged suspects at the “Vlak.” The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigation.

The victim was transported to hospital for further medical treatment.
