KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services emergency teams responded rapidly to the scene, where they found a vehicle that had overturned following the collision.
A rapid triage and medical assessment was conducted on scene, with injured patients stabilised by emergency personnel before being transported to appropriate medical facilities for further treatment and assessment.
The exact circumstances leading up to the crash cannot be confirmed at this stage and remain subject to investigation.
Traffic was affected in the area while emergency services worked to clear the scene and assist the injured.
