A victim was found unresponsive and bound by cable ties at a residence in the Pinegate area of Southgate, Phoenix on Thursday morning.

KZN VIP Emergency Response was alerted by concerned neighbours requesting immediate assistance following the discovery of the male at the property.

Upon arrival, KZN VIP medics found the patient in a critical condition. Immediate stabilisation was initiated on scene before the patient was rapidly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent further medical attention.

Preliminary information indicates that the victim was found restrained in the garage area. The victim’s vehicle was not located on scene, and an undisclosed amount of valuables were taken from the premises.

At this stage, the number of suspects, as well as the vehicle used, remains unconfirmed.

All emergency services were in attendance.
