The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has applauded the multidisciplinary forces following the arrest of five robbery suspects in the Seshego policing area. Reports indicate that members received intelligence about suspects who had just committed a robbery at Ga-Manamela village. The suspects had already fled the scene in a white Toyota Corolla and a pink Chevrolet Spark with unknown registration numbers.

On Thursday, 12 February 2026, an intelligence-driven operation was initiated comprising the Provincial Tracking Team, Provincial Investigations Unit, and Polokwane Flying Squad. The teams followed information about the suspected vehicles, which were seen travelling on Matlala Road. They were later spotted at Sengatane village.
