ARRIVE ALIVE…
The Department was joined by the South African Police Service and Road Accident Fund.
Vehicles were stopped and checked, whilst drivers and passengers were educated on road safety.
As traffic continues to increase for Festive holidays, motorists are encouraged to adhere to the rules of the road and to be patient with one another to avoid crashes.
Pedestrians are also urged to use the road responsibly by walking and crossing at designated areas, and by wearing bright clothes at nights.
The Department together with its stakeholders will continue to enhance visibility of law enforcers on identified routes.
