22-Year-Old Speedster Crashes: Brindhaven – KZN

A 22-year-old male lost control of a vehicle he was allegedly driving at high speed in Brindhaven – KZN today (Monday), resulting in damage to private property.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched after a resident contacted the Operations Centre reporting that a vehicle had veered off the roadway and collided with several potted plants outside a property before failing to stop.

Reaction Officers located the dark grey Mazda 3 on Blueberry Drive shortly thereafter. The vehicle experienced a burst left front tyre, which forced the driver to stop. Officers established that four (4) occupants were inside the car at the time of the incident.

Irate residents who witnessed the accident arrived on scene and alleged that the vehicle had been travelling at a high rate of speed within the residential area prior to the crash. It is further alleged that the driver attempted to flee but was unable to continue after the tyre was damaged.
