On Friday, 11 September 2026, at around 15:30, JHB Flying Squad members were following up on information about a suspect dealing in drugs. Members proceeded to an address at the corner of Sunbird Place in Alexandra and, on arrival, found one (01) occupant and recovered nine (09) mandrax tablets with a street value of R700-00 and R300-00 cash. The suspect was placed under arrest for possession of drugs and detained at Alexandra SAPS for further investigation.
On Monday, 14 September 2026, at around 14:45, JHB Flying Squad members were busy patrolling around Mayfair. Members stopped and searched two (02) males and recovered drugs from both suspects.
