A serious two-vehicle crash occurred along Northway in the Durban North area during the early hours of Sunday morning

KZN VIP’s Emergency Medical Team, together with security partners and towing services, responded to the scene and found two vehicles extensively damaged following the collision.

It is believed that one of the vehicles lost control and collided with the second vehicle, before the vehicles subsequently crashed into a light pole and the perimeter fencing of a property along Northway.

The impact resulted in significant damage to both vehicles as well as surrounding infrastructure.

One person sustained moderate injuries and was treated and stabilised on scene by KZN VIP medics before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical attention.

The exact circumstances leading up to the collision cannot be confirmed at this stage.

All relevant emergency services were in attendance.
